Aim: What were the accomplishments of the Maya, Aztec, and Incan civilizations?
HW- Complete the ditto on the Maya

Ok, so we are still working our way through the PPT. Today we covered the Maya and the Aztecs. We looked at the Mayan ruins of Tikal and Chichen Itza. Other accomplishments of the Maya that we discussed were their writing system, calendar, and development of the concept of zero.

The Aztec acomplishments that we covered were their writing system, math system without a zero and the construction of Tenochititlan.

We started our unit on the Aztecs, Incas and Mayas. We did not get that far because I had to hand back a stack of assignments, review the turning point essay and finish exams from friday.
